Sweetly Confused Remix EP
Recommending Rick Wade's remix of Dubbyman's "Sunday Manifesto," Kazuki Yamaguchi (or, as his fans know him, Kez YM.) told the textura website, "When I make house tracks, I always try to make something like this." Well with his first release on 4lux he certainly managed to fdeliver a bang-on release which sold out within few weeks. Here we have his remix ep with two stomping house mixes by fellow 4lux All Star Alex Agore and one bouncing mix with a slight dub feel by 4lux head honcho Gerd. Alex's Re-edit of Sweetly confused is a solid house track suitable for peak-time play While his Beatdown Version is, as the name already suggests, a lazy house track with sweet Rhodes chords coupled with a cosy bass aimed to warm up the crowds. Gerd’s trademarks are warm, funked out melodies and to-die-for chords, and this release continues in the vein, recalling his earlier work on This Touch is Higher Than Moods, but then with a straight 4-to-the-floor. Due to huge demand we inculded Kez's original of Sweetly Confused again. All four of these wicked cuts are infused with warmth and soul, and in the right mood with the right people, they'll all be capable of getting the room smiling. Jacked up, feelgood and dancefloor-friendly house, it's Kez YM on a mission!
