Nomi Ruiz, widely known for her collaboration with Hercules & Love Affair, returns to the dance floor with her electronic dance music project Jessica 6.

After touring the world in support of the J6 debut album ‘See The Light’ Nomi began collaborating with dance music producers worldwide on what has become ‘The Capricorn’.

With production by dance-tech-house producers such as Eli Escobar, Rampa and &ME, Nomi creates an emotional soundscape, telling stories of ‘those who have been ostracized by their lovers’. ‘The Capricorn’ explores shame, pride and forgiveness all while delving deeper into the genres she explored on the first album, house, nu-disco, and R&B

The first single ‘Down Low’ produced by deep house mavens Thodoris Triantafillou & CJ Jeff, addresses touches on the topic of shame through the eyes seduction. The provocative video directed by Gabriel Magdaleno brings the story of ‘Down Low’ to life, allowing viewers to explore desire while being haunted by an underlying fear.
