Travel to the Outpost
After the acclaimed Austronaut's Dream release late 2008, Agore is back with a full album filled to the brimm with intergalactic funk. You can't go wrong with Agore’s talent for grooving beats, solid basslines, warm chords, spaced out effects and subtle delicates. This man doesn’t put under for and can easily be compared with some of the funkiest Detroit veterans out there. In part because he strays perfectly inside the confines of pure techno.. No kidding! In fact, Travel To The Outpost displays pure techno. Sometimes his tracks go with a hint of house, sometimes they dabble in tribal patterns. Sometimes you even can hear his inspiration taken from some of his favourite “disco” records. But always are there those crispy tech flavors. Agore covers all the bases with panache, moving from Pure Science's shimmering, filter-laden "Alone in the Deep” to nostalgic Detroit rub "Timeloop" and the spaced out "Into The Orbit'.
