Though "Do You Wanna Get Funky With Me" and "Dance With Me" are clearly intended for clubs, the remainder of the album also shows flashes of a less-cynical Steely Dan in songs like "A Fantasy Love Affair" and "It's True What They Say About Love." The other half of the album is well-crafted by multi-instrumentalist Brown, if nondescript. [Collectables remastered the album for CD release in 1998 with no bonus tracks.]
