Canadian actor, songwriter and record promoter James Collins launches debut CD The Messenger

Toronto, Ont… On Tuesday, April 11, 2006, Toronto actor, songwriter and record promoter James Collins releases his independently produced CD. Titled The Messenger, Collins debut CD will be available in Canada at record stores and retail outlets, including HMV, Chapters and Indigo, CD Plus, Pure Tracks and for purchasing and downloading on iTunes.

The Messenger is a collection of 13 pop songs, 10 news songs written and produced by Collins alone or with guest musicians and songwriters, plus three cover versions of songs that inspired him by other musicians. These are: Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime, written by James Warren and recorded by The Korgis; God’s Great Banana Skin, written and recorded by Chris Rea and Sandra, co-written by Barry Manilow and Enoch Anderson and recorded by Barry Manilow.
