Kalven Swell delivers the goods for Marinated's sixteenth release. The EP is named "Times and Days" with its title track taking you on a smooth journey through dubby west coast House Music at its true state. With smooth chords and clean highs, this track builds its groove from the solid foundation of a deep and rich sub bass. As the front end rises, female vocal snippets make way through the edge of a building drop into a discussion about the times we live in. This is a great tune to ride by.
Track 2 is titled Lumps and Bumps. This track has a clean straight forward groove in motion with live bass and key strokes. layered with uplifting energy, this is a great transition track from deep to more movement on the drum end.
Track 3 is called Buddy's Buddy and this work gets a remix by UK's Andrew Macari as he appears "Greenbay Jacekers." Kalven provides Andrew with a strong set of sounds to return this great remix. Both the OG and remix set the stage for good times ahead.
