Reedman Kim Waters is all about the quiet storm on his R&B-infused From the Heart. Showcasing his calm, sweet saxophone tone over hummable melodies, Waters may not be pushing the smooth jazz envelope, but with such suggestive songs as "Until Dawn" and "Sweet Desire," one gets the sense that it ain't an envelope that needs pushing.
