This is truly a perfect pop album. Lucio Dalla's best---and that's saying a lot! Simply timeless, though fully a child of the 80's. A great pleasure to listen to from start to finish. This is the album that completely cemented the genius of Lucio Dalla. Innovative. Full of flavor, humor, social conscience and (self) revelation. It is nearly impossible to select a standout track here, as all of them are "hit-worthy," even for this ARTIST, who seems more concerned with creating great, socially relevant, and tuneful music than in scoring a hit. Still, "Washington," and "Tutta la vita," qualify as excellent top-40 material. In "Toro," he pokes fun at himself, and "60,000,000 di anni fa'" is also great fun. Dalla is at the very TOP of his form here. Excellent, thoroughly satisfying, and more. Highly and most heartily recommended!!! So much more satisfying than any anthology or collection, as it is an extremely cohesive, conceptual work.
