Roots Go Deep Music is a newly established record label created & directed by Sibusiso Ncongwane & Siyabonga Ngwenya. In its premise, the label endeavors to release a variety of deep & unique quality music from up and coming artists & producers from Africa & abroad. The finest handpicked productions capturing the true essence of Underground Deep House.

For our first release we are honored to present the first installment in The Rough Materials series. Focusing on the roughest cuts from S.A, we bring you the raw deepness that dwells at the heart of Africa. The series kicks off with 4 beautiful singles from the original Roots Go Deep trio, catering for both the lounge & the dance floor. Each producer takes it upon themselves to deliver their individual musical expression, embedded with their emotions, passion & spirituality, including a special collaboration between the label heads - Fred Buddah & Ofuren. Embossed with a dark & elegant mood to the EP, these 3 producers are inadvertently redefining the term African Deep House, stripping it down to its true form.
