Darker Sounds presents its newest release, an EP titled Project Red.

Like an advancing force inching ever closer to its target, the six tracks in Project Red EP represent an escalating symphony of drums that deliver a devastating payload. It is a collection that resonates and takes us on a crusade through haunted cities and distant forests.

With Neuronod's Lost Temple, the atmosphere is built simply and sharply, riddled with distant chimes and horns signifying the looming presence of a sinister beast. Oeschgii's Holy Tune makes its presence felt by shock waves that reverberate across rolling hills.

Two tracks by Cubex further define the explosive force of this EP. Terrible Things generates methodical rhythm with a clean, crisp bassline. Society Sickness V03 is a hostile example of minimal, dark techno that drags you under the soul crushing weight of its drums.

Julius Chap's Smoky Beats advances even closer with a rolling refrain that both punishes and rewards. Darmec's title track Project Red ends the crusade at our doorstep, surrounding us with pounding panicked drums and chilling cries. The atmosphere in Project Red EP comes full circle, darkness and enigma taking root under our skin.
