Steve McGrath is back with his Maybe One Day EP on PTR. This artist really has a flare for being reminiscent of the early days of progressive houses feel and styles while creating an updated sound and production.
Title track Maybe One Day starts off with a low-slung, wobbly bassline line that builds into a beautiful progressive house gem. Warm, analog synths, soaring pads and memorable melodies abound here.
Second track, One on the Way, chugs along building with analog stabs that create a great hook and pull you in. Then the pads swell in and suddenly you are completely immersed in this track. Another great one from Steve.
Final track on the EP, Solar Sister, maybe be last but definitely not least. As the title would suggest there is plenty of space in this track. The retro style synths and effects are wonderful and the production is just stellar.
These tracks are perfect to close out the summer during your patio sets. This is definitely a release you'll want to pick up.
