After her first single 'Girl In Black', Janette Slack takes a turn to demonstrate her influences from her more alternative background. Getting in touch with her Sheffield roots, she teams up with fellow producer Kickflip.

The duo have merged their signature sounds together to create a hybrid of styles, drawing in elements of rock, electro, flavorous bass, and some freestlying vocals by Javone Prince (AKA 'Jerwayne' from Channel 4's Phoneshop).

'You Can't Stop This' is influenced by Janette's residency at Torture Garden, an audience that is united from various musical tastes that range from punk rock to complextro, and dub step to progressive. A combination that would seem a challenge, however here, it just makes sense.
