Very interesting approach from Max Mason and cohort Bernie Allen on the Changing Lanes EP. They've taken a track and given us 3 different renditions of it. Very sneaky indeed! All 3 are deep, chugging, progressive house numbers. As always when Max is involved, the production quality is outstanding. Even though they are giving us 3 renditions of the same track, in the same genre and style; each one really does have it's own unique identity and personality. 1 stands out for different things then 3 and 2 has different nuances than 1 and so on.
Route 1 is the track I can hear in the first 30 minutes of the next big GU compilation. It fits that warm, progressive house vibe that just grows. Mixing into and out of you could create those perfect, seamless, what seems like 10 minute mixes. Aces!
