Both the title track, Silked, and its b-side, Jamaica use hiphop vocal samples to take charge of their respective 140bpm tempos. Silked defines a future world full of chaos, unified by tight vocal samples and put in order through the weight of its bass! Jamaica, with its jungle riffs and dub stabs, redefines the direction of dubstep and bass music - taking the listener directly to the ghettos in Kingston. The final track, is label boss, DGGZs remix of Silked, easing back on the grit a tad and delivering a bass heavy banger ready for the club up the block.
