"Jazz Social" is a unique recording project created entirely online via a social networking site. Initiated by guitarist Dave Wright and facilitated by the social networking site for musicians, Kompoz. This recording project features Dave on guitar performing his original compositions accompanied by host of musicians from around the world!

Written, created and recorded online between September 2012 and May 2013, "Jazz Social" features 8 original compositions in the "Mainstream Jazz" genre featuring standard Jazz instrumentation including Piano, Upright Acoustic Bass, Drums and Guitar, also featuring Hammond Organ and Bossa Nova style Guitar on one track. Each music track was performed, recorded and contributed by each musician, utilizing their own resources, interests, skills and time frame, there were no deadlines, explicit instructions, expectations or specific recording dates. The musicians involved have never actually played together live in person.
