Inspired by the movie "Gidi Blues" (directed by Femi Odugbemi, starring Gideon Okeke and Hauwa Allahbura), "Gidi Love" is the title song from the soundtrack of the film; in it, Banky W attempts to answer the question that seems to be most frequently asked of him by the media and fans alike. These days, he can't seem to post anything on social media without multiple people asking him "When will you marry"??

In "Gidi Love", Banky W playfully attempts to talk about the plight of trying to find love in Lagos.. he mentions different scenarios of potential partners, but with each blowing up in his face and not quite working out. We can only assume that the pictures he's painting are part reality, and part fiction (based on the plot of the "Gidi Blues" movie) but it works very well. Set to another feel-good Production by rising hitmaker TK (producer of his "All I want is You" hit with Chidinma), "Gidi Love" is a certified hit that will do very well on airwaves across the continent, and should serve to temporarily answer the number of people who seem like they can't wait to see Mr W eventually tie the knot.
