The Greatest Bits (1978) is a Dutch video game music dj and musician who played in various bands for half of his life. The other half was mostly spent playing games like Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country, Mega Man, The Legend of Zelda, Tetris, Street Fighter and so on.

The Greatest Bits loves the soundtracks of the old Nintendo game consoles and makes new versions of the best video game music classics. So far he has produced tribute albums to Mega Man 2, Mega Man 3, Donkey Kong Country, Tetris, Michael Jackson's Moonwalker, Chrono Trigger, Street Fighter 2, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, Pokemon Red & Blue, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Final Fantasy 7
