Jack It Up One More Time
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Delgado Thompson, better known as Demo Delgado, grew up in Maxfield Avenue, later moving to Seaview Gardens. His musical talent as a child was nurtured in this small community, and the likes of Shabba Ranks, Bounty Killer, Wayne Smith, and Elephant Man all shared the same struggle growing up in the garrison. He began writing and recording at the tender age of 15 and saw his his first record single "For No Reason" released by Vertical Productions. At 18, he recorded several singles including the local dancehall hits "Gal Dem Bebe" and "Dem No Worry We".
Demo Delgado recorded several singles for various producers including Donovan Germain and also teamed with other artists such as Sanchez, Zumjay, Mr. Easy and Wayne Wonder. When Demo Delgado first met Wayne Wonder in Kingston, Jamaica, they hit it off from the start. Later Delgado joined Wayne Wonder in New York to collaborate on "No Holding Back", the Atlantic Records album that launched Wayne Wonder as an international superstar.
