Inspiration

Musicians as well as smooth jazz fans,
we are blown away by some of the music that we
hear on stations like the “Wave” here in LA.
But what’s even crazier, is how guys like
Waymon Tisdale, Marcus Miller and Euge Groove
take their music to a small stage in a park or a
huge stage in a Amphitheatre and tear the place
apart. We want that in our music. That’s it….

The Music

Smooth Jazz with a serious attitude. Like the Crusaders meet Tower of Power after lunch with Bootsy Collins. We definitely have a vibe of our own. Our individual credits
Range from Barry White to Johnny "Guitar" Watson.
Good, bad or ugly. You won’t find anything that
sounds like us.

On "Soul Menu". We take a march style funky
cadence, mixed in with tight bass and guitar, and
topped with a "cold blooded" piano solo.

"Thiz Iz It" breaks out the full horn section,
a funky clavinet grove and a soulful organ ride.

"Ride The Mist" turns to the beaches of Rio for an
incredible mix of guitar, strings, piano, bass and
that will totally captivate your mood.

Salsa Con Soul is just that. Salsa Vibe, Soul Energy and a Funky Beat,

To Be So Cool is s smooth glide across the strings
of Skip’s guitar. Backed by the bands smooth intuitive accompaniment.

Sweet Chocolate is a single horn sermon of jazz and night club cool woven

Kaywen is just crazy. Beats licks and groves all done on the fly.
