Eric "Smidi" Smith AKA Smidi Beats and Geno "G-Love" Stanley met in 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada while serving in the US Air Force at Nellis Air Force Base. Smidi created the music and he mixed and mastered the projects. Geno contributed the lyrics, vocal performance and vocal arrangements. It Must Be Love was originally released in 2004. Baby Get Ready was originally released in 2006. Both projects have been Remixed and Remastered by Smidi in 2014. He compiled a combination of 14 Hot tracks from both projects to release “A Decade Of R&B Volume 1”. Currently Geno is talking about writing and recording his 3rd project to release in the future. Smidi Beats is actively producing multi genre instrumental music tracks for 100’s of popular network television shows, documentaries, movies, Youtube video game promos, and several recording artist.
