I have spent the last four years recording and performing with other bands and I was content in contributing to others' work but had never tried writing or pursuing any of my own projects. Then several people from my church asked if I would record some hymns that were special to me and to them. Meanwhile, I was in a low time in my life, and playing the piano, reading the Bible and praying in my car became life lines for me, and through these things, three original songs came. This has led me to write more pieces that express the healing happening in my life, and new joy in Jesus. Not all the songs that are still surfacing are on this project, but hopefully in the future I'll be able to keep recording. For now, I hope and pray that these songs encourage others as much as they've encouraged me. It is true: He restores our souls. Psalm 23
