MOG, born Sedrick Bolden, hails from Los Angeles, California an epicenter of creative quakes in television, film and certainly records and music. Relocating to San Bernardino County at the age of 4 allowed him and his family to experience first hand the vast and harsh differences of life in the heart of LA’s Ghetto from life in heart of desert country.

Having been reared in a Godly household, MOG has known of God’s undying love for the unbeliever and the believer alike since he was young. Of course praying grandparents always seem to help when going through tumultuous times and this was certainly the case in the Bolden household. At some point his entire household was going though great adversity to provide a positive influence for their children. Though this phase only lasted for some months the great residual effect on MOG was an unflinching commitment to Christ.
