Salsa-Natra in Clave

Salsa-Natra in Clave

Legend has it that in the early 1960s Frank Sinatra and Tito Puente tentatively planned to do an album of latin music songs. Sadly, for various reasons, it did not happen. But in 2003 Joe Quijano took up the challenge and made it as a tribute to Frank Sinatra.

Utilizing the cream of latin musicians in New York Joe has put together what might have been if Sinatra and Tito Puente had completed this project.

So what we have is a swinging, danceable album of salsa, mambo and cha cha cha all done in that classic Sinatra style. Swinging salsa arrangements from Joe and his big band make this a truly Salsa-Natra moment, in other words, Sinatra in Clave.
