This album has five songs on it, all public domain (i.e. no royalties). Carol of the Bells is a largely instrumental version of this well known carol. It is worth checking out Wikipedia for a bit of history on this interesting piece. The middle part has lyrics which I wrote. The Angel Gabriel and Coventry Carol are both somewhat obscure but very beautiful and somewhat haunting. I had some vocal help from my daughter on the Angel Gabriel. What Child is This has always been one of my favorites, maybe because I like songs in a minor key. This recording has a HUGE 12-string on it, which I just love. Finally, Jolly Old St Nicholas is a poppy kind of Xmas song. I put a kazoo ensemble solo in the middle and end, which really cracks me up.

As an aside, the image on the cover is a photo of a replica of the Shroud of Turin. The image on the upper left is the actual image, the other three have been filtered to bring out the image.
