Marcos was born on March 31st, 1984 in Manhattan, NY. Growing up in the city, he developed a deep appreciation for the Arts. As a young man he was heavily influenced by his musical family and church. Soon he attended F.H. LaGuardia HS for the Performing Arts, where he excelled as a soloist in the Gospel and Classical genres.

In May 2004, Marcos released his first album, as a part of the gospel trio “Devoted to Him”. He wrote, produced and sung on the album, which achieved local success and received rave reviews in the church community. The album also led to several opportunities for Marcos in the industry. Soon he was opening up shows (Marcos Witt, Palace Theater) and singing background vocals for popular gospel artists (Donnie McClurkin)!

In 2006, Marcos was invited to be a lead vocalist on TRUCE’s album “The Refuge”. Shortly after completing this project, he began work on his first solo record with indie producer Jerry Kaufman.
