Perception is an audio-visual experience with linked themes that explore aspects of modern life. After an Introduction that questions our understanding of the world, Perception goes on to explore and map various perceptions of our reality. The musical ideas use linked melodies and motifs that develop the themes that matter to us - who am I? Is this everything there is?

Although (mostly!) instrumental the mood and sounds of the tracks are designed to invoke the spirit and essence of the album's theme. The samples used are wide and varied; deliberately so, thereby creating both light and dark, optimism and cynicism - all prevalent themes in our world. There is, therefore, no single right or wrong "perception", just contrasting opinions.

Ultimately however the album celebrates life and optimism as we embark on the greatest adventure of all - our place in the world.
