Trey McGriff started a fun musical endeavor in the year 1999 and began writing songs under the moniker Frenzy. Trey's music combines a unique blend of genres including: Alternative, Acoustic, Pop, and Rock. McGriff''s sound has been compared to Blind Melon, Greenday, Counting Crows, and Goo Goo Dolls, to name a few, while creating a fresh, southern sound of his own. FREE YOUR MIND was written, recorded, performed, and produced by Trey McGriff with the help of Trey's long-time Mississippi buddy and drummer, Kenny Graeber, who provided the killer drums for the album! After the new album was released, a local Atlanta DJ aired some of the tracks and Trey began to perform his original material LIVE, along with some of the best musicians in Georgia.

Although there are no future plans to tour, Frenzy LIVE enjoyed it's 3 year sponsorships with Jagermeister & Pabst Blue Ribbon, and performed in many of Georgia's most popular venues such as: The Coca-Cola Roxy, Vinyl, Andrews Upstairs, 10 High, Hard Rock Cafe/Velvet Underground, Breakers Music Hall, Brandyhouse, Sweetwater Bar & Grill, Mall of Georgia Pavillion, Front Page News, Tijuana Garage, Paris on Ponce, and Six Flags over Georgia.

Frenzy LIVE shared the stage with many talented groups which include: Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, 13 Stories, Transmission, Crazy Anglos, Uncrowned, Second Shift,The Tams,The Hush, Modern Skirts, BIV(Jump Little Children), Marshall Seese, Sold Out, Tim Brantley, Liquid Jungle, Wonderfall, Belljar, Lazy Eye, Amber Brooke, Stokeswood, and many other talented bands.
