Self-produced, the album consists of 11 tracks of high intensity metal music delivered by seasoned South Texas musicians. The foundation of the music is set with deep and articulately played bass lines, matched with an array of drumming including high speed double bass, creative fills, and timely placed accents. The guitars are crunchy and blistering, bringing the overall intensity of the music to its peak. The vocals add a moderated feel to the frenzy, offering a more regulated tone than what you are used to hearing with today's metal sound. The music inspired Lamb of God artist K3n Adams to create both the band logo and album artwork for New Lights First Kiss. The album is a testament to "new life," and offers the listener a look into a world of despair, with light at the end of the tunnel.

Founded in 1998, the band exists as a creative outlet for its members, enjoying the adrenalin rush of live shows, and the triumph of conveying their thoughts and ideas through music to others. The band is diverse, featuring a husband/wife (vocals and guitar/bass), a Floridian transplant, and an experienced drummer who leverages his drum corps chops with ease.

The unit has reached a level of synergy that has produced recent nominations to San Antonio's annual Music Awards. In 2012, the band was nominated in three categories, including Best Metal Song, Best Live Performance, and Best Original Song. Although the band did not win, it was humbling to be nominated for Best Live Performance and Best Original song amongst other genres.
