Originally founded in 1998 as a guitar and drum duo, Argus has remained tucked away in central Washington state (USA) playing regional venues while developing a library of over 30 original songs. From its folk and vintage pop origins, Argus has progressed into a three-piece rock band, borrowing from 60s rock and modern indie rock influences to forge a more polished, evolved sound.

In November of 2009 Argus laid down tracks from their first decade of catchy power-pop and lyrical satire aimed at social and political marks in its debut release "Starting Lineup". The 13-song album captures their early passive-agressive songwriting style masked by up-beat, catchy melodies that will get your toes tapping in agreement before you know what hit you.
