I love to create a song about the mood Im currently in. This day was a great spring day while attending Arizona State University. As soon as I got to the studio the producer and friend, Woody Jarrett, dropped this chilled out beat with a perfect touch of Raggae. Then when the live Saxophone came through with the signature riff of the chorus the first thing that came out of my mouth was... "Elevate Your Miiiiiind" and the rest came together within the hour!!
