The first time "Silky James Taylor" heard this song was 16 years ago when I was writing
my Christmas Musical "Old Fashion Christmas." At the time he was touring with the
world famous Helen & Tony Williams Platters. Let's just say that his mature ears were not
readily drawn to the child friendly, bouncy song.This year when I sent it to him to review again
he called me and said, "You know my grand child has been singing this song around the house
for two days. She even has me singing it. I want to record this as a duet with Heidi a lady who
does my shows with me. Wait til you hear her vocal range."
I told him I was working on a cartoon version but he would not be detoured.
"It is the type of song which can grow to become a Classic and I want to be one of the first to record it."
