Matt Almendinger aka Matty was born in Seoul, South Korea Dec 3rd, 1987. Adopted at the age of 3 Weeks, he came to Keizer, Or. He has lived there for 19 years. A Graduate of Mcnary High School, Class of 2006, Matty started writing songs his sophomore year. He came out with his first album entitled "Blowin Up" in 2006 but was very low quality and was just to see if he could do it. He kept writing despite al the people who said he couldn’t do it. Matty then decided to record a full length album, but this time, it would be professional and legit. He recorded the enitre album in a real studio, had big names featuring such as The Kid Espi and Dub. 7 months later he dropped his album entitled "Where I'm From.” In his words, “Its some of the best work I've ever done. Some serious songs, some club songs, some lyrical songs, basically something for everyone.”
