Omaha musician Matt Cox will be releasing his fourth album, Tracks In The Sound, on Sunday July 3rd, 2011 at The Waiting Room Lounge. Cox will be performing on this night with his full band and will be billed as The Matt Cox Band. Also on the bill are The Filter Kings and The Mezcal Brothers. Tickets for this all ages show are $7 and can be purchased at the door on the night of the event. The show will begin at 9PM.

Matt Cox has been winning over audiences all over the Midwest and beyond for since his first release “Folkers Travels” in 2007. He is an artist than can be put in front of country, roots, blues, indie, song-writer, and folk audiences and win each one over simply with his aged beyond his years pure vocals and honest storytelling and song-writing. While he has been pigeonholed into many genres over the years, he would describe himself as an Americana artist that has been influenced by the long tradition of raw and genuine musicians that came before himself.
