Kais [Kais Khoury] is a producer / singer / songwriter currently based in Vancouver, BC. Born and raised in the magnificent country of Jordan, yet rooted between various places from a young age, he proudly considers himself a citizen of the world. 'There's no shame in that representation. Each environment I grew up in still holds a unique impact on my personal development.' Kais says.

He is a one of a kind artist, blending an exquisite melange of indie folk and progressive pop rock to address a ubiquitous array of topics, from war and global warming to poetic complexities that mystically parallel the interwoven play of nature and the social world. Gradually making ripples in the music industry, he's performed a multitude of gigs in London last year, including the Mayor of London Big Busk. But a journey without roadblocks is insignificant. Kais humbly admits to his shortcomings, saying 'I've yet to make a splash. But even a splash won't phase a river, which is what a main city like London is. So I constantly have to recreate my advances.' In spite of emerging obstacles, he recently graduated a nine month diploma program out of Point Blank Music College and is prolonging the rewards of his entrepreneurial musicianship with a broader vocabulary and a hands on approach. His engine spins on well greased as he now continues to perform throughout Vancouver City with an indelible nerve for leaving a lasting mark.
