China Moses
China Moses (born January 9, 1978 in Los Angeles) is an American television host and jazz singer. She lives in Paris. China Moses is the daughter of jazz singer Dee Dee Bridgewater and film and television director Gilbert Moses. Since 1997 she has been working as a singer, songwriter and producer. She has worked with Meshell Ndegeocello, Guru, Camille, Étienne de Crécy and DJ Mehdi. In 2009 she released the album This One's for Dinah, with pianist Raphaël Lemonnier, in tribute to the singer Dinah Washington on the French Blue Note Records imprint through her production company, MadeInChina Productions. Since 2009, she has performed occasionally in London, including at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and in collaborations with musician and show producer Alex Webb for the London Jazz Festival.
