Norwegian keyboardist Jon Balke filters jazz, new age and rock influences through a series of uneven compositions on his 1991 LP On and On. The tunes are similiar to material done by Jan Garbarek and Terje Rypdal, though lacking their flair and the production polish provided by ECM.\r
