Growing up in country Victoria, Timmus has been bringing his original twisted funk and groove sounds to the streets and back to the bush since the tender age of 15 in 2005. His lifelong musical background and penchant for long and life-changing musical journeys behind the decks has resulted in an alternative, organic, minimalistic and groove-oriented take on electronic music, be it from house, techno, experimental or beyond. 2014 sees him also creating in a different realm under his experimental electronica alias Micro Jaxon.\r \r Now at the age of 24, he is now the owner of Australian/Berlin-based Smash Bang Records and has released music on labels like Heinz, Sprout, Subsonic, K47 Music, Smash Bang, Open Records, Suckmusic. He has applied his remix touches to names like Uone, Thankyou City, Nick Coleman, Jules David, Augmented, Dersu Uzala, Luke Mcd, Ronnie Gordan and Upfunk. Alongside performing at events like Rainbow Serpent Festival (Australia) Fusion Festival (Germany) Strawberry Fields (Aus), C/o Pop Festival (Germany), , Subsonic Music Festival (Australia), Earthdance and many more.
