Anna Maria Kaufmann
Anna Maria Kaufmann (1964 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a Canadian-German opera and musical singer. Anna Maria Kaufmann grew up in the town of Lacombe south of Edmonton. At first she was only in her spare time in clubs and at private events on stage. She went to the training in classical singing at the Robert Schumann Institute of Music in Dusseldorf. Here she studied with Erika Köth and Claire Watson. In 1990, the soprano their chance in the Hamburg production of the musical The Phantom of the Opera. Here they stood at the side of Peter Hofmann and played the lead female role of a ballet dancer Christine Daae
