I am a singer/songwriter based in the Pennine regions. My true musical beginnings started at secondary school, participating in numerous performances with the school choir and later in dramatic productions. Originally a classical and theatrical singer, I didn't begin to sing folk until 2010 after returning from a year abroad. I wrote the now well know 'In the Spell' in late 2010 after connecting with a singer teacher in the local area. That singer teacher has become my best friend, mentor and guide and through her I was introduced to my first big project. I began work with Solarstone in May 2011, an introduction which changed the way I look at my writing, singing and performing. I gig sporadically at local venues, preferring the Puzzle Inn and 3 Wise Monkeys. Currently involved in both EDM and folk music I've bridged a so far rarely travelled track between two vastly different genres, and bringing a touch of both together.
