Maysa wins the Centric Award/Soul Approved during the Soul Train awards at the Georgia World Congress Center November 3, 2009. Maysa also received the "Howard L. Cornish Drum Major" award from the Morgan State University Alumni Association at Martins West in Baltimore January 15, 2011.
