the double meaning behind "unversed" is intentional: I made this edit in ~3 hours of slicing, splicing, and nitpicking the vocal & dub mixes, unversed in any formal method & without any a cappellas.\r \r the literal meaning is that this has been "un-versed"-- the instrumental for this track is incredibly poignant, and there's something about it that tears at my heartstrings... but the verse seems to detract from it, for me.\r \r so in the end, I removed that verse, rearranged the breaks, mashed up the build, and left the beautiful synths to float through empty air outside of the break-- where Johanna's voice is *perfect* and soars in symphony with the music.
