DJ Sharpnel (sharpnelsound) is an influential and well-known “Japanimated” hardcore, or gabber, group formed in Tokyo, Japan. In 1996, Jea started his first own hardcore project named “Project Gabbangelion” in west side of japan. In 1998, after his moved to tokyo, sharpnelsound was formed. Over 300 tracks was released under sharpnelsound in past, and its sounds cause many influence to all over the world. DJ Sharpnel regularly performed at X-treme hard and many parties with top leaders of hardcore heros in japan in tokyo. Recently DJ Sharpnel works are appeared on some major label remix of “深青Philosophy”, “Daichi no Uta”, “Tamble girls” and other game musics.
