Amnesia
by Tom DemalonAmnesia was essentially frontman Brad Laner, who had been the driving force behind the Los Angeles-based, alternative rock band Medicine through several albums during the 90s. Taking a slightly more eclectic path than his former band, Amnesia released Lingus in 1998 that featured string arrangements by Beck's father. Unfortunately, the project netted even less attention than the critically-acclaimed, commercially-ignored Medicine and Amnesia remained an act relegated to a fringe audience.
