Compact Grey started his musical career in 2005 when he worked as a booking agent. Someday in 2010 he left the agency in order to concentrate more on his own career and he found a new home at Stereofunk's Label Klang Gymnastik. Starting off with his first productions and playing alongside with big names such as Tom Novy, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Moguai or Brian Sanhaji he manifested his name in the Techno and House scene pretty fast. Not only playing his personal interpretation of Techno and House music in the clubs across the country, he also bounced some driving beats through the speakers at some big festivals such as SonneMondSterne, Sputnik Spring Break, Summer Spirit or Airbeat One.\r \r Also his productions keep the people dancing real hard for years now. Already in 2009 he released his first Single called 'The Game' on Christian Fischer’s imprint Definition Records. Only one year later Compact Grey’s track 'Summer Spirit' rose to the position of the offical anthem for the same-called festival close to Berlin and he was also mixing the official festival-CD for the Electro City 2011 in Ferropolis. The Leipzig based DJ and producer remixed acts such as Chit Chat Sex Band or Robot needs Oil and received remixes of his own tracks from acts like Ron Flatter or Beatamines. Always hungry for more is his motto and so he founded is own label Gris Musique where he releases his own productions and the ones from his favored artists. New productions keep on flying on us one after the other. 'Bane' for example was remixed by Ron Costa and hit the Beatport Tech House charts at position #11, already supported by internationally well know artists like Tocadisco, Mark Knight, Marco Carola and many more!\r \r Compact Grey is a musician with heart and soul and so beeing creative means everything to him! His music, both productions and DJ sets, can best be described a groovy Tech-House that has been much influenced by Techno, House, Pop and Rock. His sound always orients itself on the tune of time, without transforming into a trashy trend-follower or beeing a copy cat. Beeing innovative with everything is Compact Grey’s goal and so he sometimes even sets trends on his own...\r \r And since the circle keeps on turning we can expect a lot more awesome productions and amazing sets in the next years.
